As many of you know, I’ve been living the bitcoin life for over 8 years. I get paid in bitcoin and spend my bitcoin for my day to day expenses. That’s just the tip of the iceberg though, by living the bitcoin life for the last 8 years, I’ve been on the inside of the bitcoin community. I have developed close relationships with many of the recognized leaders in bitcoin, including thought leaders, entrepreneurs, influencers, developers and CEO’s of some of the most exciting companies in the space.
On my show “Why are We Bullish”, I’ve hosted most of the best known bitcoiners, including Michael Saylor, Preston Pysh, Lyn Alden, Jack Mallers and Saifedean Ammous. I have the good fortune of regularly chatting with Jeff Booth, Natalie Brunel, Matt O’Dell and Marty Bent, whom I consider all good friends. I have had conversations and shared ideas with American Hodl, NVK, Nico Moran, James Lavish, Robert Breedlove and Alex Gladstein. I have hosted guest that are ardent bitcoiners that are also not that well known, just regular plebs that have amazing stories about how bitcoin has impacted their lives. All of these relationships and interactions have made me a stronger bitcoiner. Every conversation I have I learn something new and feel even more connected to the growing bitcoin community.
I tell you all of this not to brag, but instead to let you know how fortunate I feel to be surrounded by such a great group of people in the bitcoin community. AND I want you to experience what I experience in bitcoin. That’s why I created the Orange Circle! A community of like minded bitcoiners to share ideas, stories, best practices, new insights and just general conversation.
I want you to be a part of these amazing conversations, to share ideas and stories with the amazing bitcoiners, like you, that don’t get to be on the inside of the bitcoin community.
Bitcoin adoption is growing fast, but many of us still feel like outsiders in the normie community. Most of our friends and family members think we are crazy to be so into bitcoin, this thing they think is a fad or some kind of scam. They don’t understand how we can listen to 10 hours of podcasts per week and still feel like we don’t know anything. They also don’t understand how hard it is to know what we know and have to hold back from shouting it from the rooftops.
The idea to create a community platform for bitcoiners has been with me for quite a while. I just felt like there is so much that bitcoiners bring to the table, from insights on economics, hard money, lifestyle, health, nutrition, to sharing memes, stories, and life experiences. Some of these things are unique in the bitcoin space. Sure we can share posts on X or Nostr, but what we all really need is a place where we feel we belong as bitcoiners.
We will share the latest tech developments, insights into the bitcoin market, assessments of the level of bitcoin adoptions, some of the new bitcoin businesses, discuss flag theory and second passports, riff on where the best places are to spend bitcoin, share experiences and so much more!
We will discuss our best strategies for orange pilling our friends and even have discussions on who we feel should deserve to get the orange pill pitch.
Many of you have had the good fortune of working with one of our Mentors. You probably know how committed they are to the bitcoin ethos, and you probably have a sense for how solid their technical chops are. But you may not know that they are awesome humans, that’s the main reason I chose them to be on the team. Well they are so excited about this new community! They can’t wait to engage with more bitcoiners on a regular basis, to hear their stories, learn their bitcoin journeys and hear their ideas about where bitcoin will be in 10 years. They will play a key role in the community, chatting with you guys and providing their insights and expertise. You will get to know them well.
We will have regular live webinars and a private group chat, these are the things I’m most excited about!
I also look forward to introducing my well known bitcoin friends to the community, to give them a chance to engage with you guys. As bitcoiners, that’s what they love best as well.
